Finally a post with pictures...

Well I have been looking forward to this time off of school to go on a hike.

And then my sis-in-law had a need for an emergency babysitter.

Well, hiking with a three year-old didn't sound like fun.

So off to the zoo it was. It was packed but

they all still enjoyed it. Ash even brought a friend

but of course we never saw them.

We had fun at the zoo, then went to the nearby park for picnic lunch.

Well, it was packed so we did not stay long as that is nervous

for me to watch my own let alone a 3 year-old who doesn't need a babysitter...right?

Anyhow, on the way home we stopped at a friends store where they have

more animals. The kids enjoyed petting them. They then asked...

"Can we go to the pet store too?" Sure! No pictures though.

Tiger is gnawing on a bone...that was fun cause usually
he is just lying around.

or as my friend says, necking or as B says, and not softly,

"Look they are MATING!"

Oops, it is really hard to take a picture of someone sitting on your lap

and their sister. Oh well, maybe next time.
She and i are sitting right next to the post waiting for the vulture show.

Well, a lady says she can't sit on the post but I can stay where I am

THOUGH she did want to warn me about the poop zone.

Which i was in. Awe, i am fine but thank you....

See me not there anymore next to the brick post??? You are probably wondering why??
Well, here is my view...She wasn't kidding. Bird BUM right over me.

Especially when she swung her arm out. THANK YOU! NO!

I did take these two pictures and then moved. TOO SCARED!
