Jr Ranger Camp

Chan had a great time at junior ranger camp. Jr ranger camp is put on by the Saguaro National Park each summer. This year he received a special invitation only letter for this camp. His camp was held special for the kids from last year that should extra interest in the camp. He learned about a lot of different plants, animals, etc. He also learned how to take care of the environment. He had so much fun attending.

These two pictures were taken with my hand outside the car pointing backwards. I think they turned out perfect.

His group was called the screeching birds.
Each of the 6 kids had their own bird sound
and we had to guess which bird it was.
Chan was the screeching owl.

They all received a graduation certificate.
He was last and the guy teased him that there
were no more certificates. Then they all had
some snacks and treats that the parents brought.

This is a cute baby javelina that was with his
pack hanging out in the shade of the building.
Chan took this picture of the baby. There was
probably 10 more javelinas there.
We were inside the building looking through
a big picture window.
