Eagle part 1

After long hard work and his first project being done by others,

Taey has finally picked, been approved and halfway

completed his Eagle project.  The pictures below are for my

Auntie Janell who has requested a visual.  The day Taey picked

happened to be 106 and at 5pm still about 103.  At least there

was shade and it did cool off by 830 when finished.

The turn out was great!  He had a very supportive troop as

well as quite a few friends of ours showed up to support him. 

No pictures included, but grandma made some yummy cookies

and cut watermelon for the workers.  Shouting out a big Thanks to her!!

 Good friend Zack came to work and had on his

safety gear.  Thanks Zack! Great job holding the wood Joesph.

Tyler and Robb here.  Robb's job was to sit on the bench. 

Just kidding, he did paint too but no pictures to prove it.

 Even the Elders came to help out!  They were hard workers and

are super role models. 

 Nic did not want to cut wood but after being taught he decided to try it out.

 It was fabulous that our niece (Taey's cousin and friend) and her friend

showed up for support too! 

 Our good friends the Bingham's allowed Taey the use

of their yard and some tools to build the benches. 

 My Friend even brought her nephew (who did not know Taey) and son to help.

 Great Friends the Wilkes' sent their oldest.

Now on to phase two, painting of the basketball/volleyball courts.

That we will be doing EARLY in the morning to try and beat the heat.

We are so thankful for all our family, friends and troop members who

came to support Taey.
